On October 10, 2009 21 employees from LD participated on 5 different teams in the 12 team TORNEO AMIGO Futsal soccer tournament held at Lake center park in Santa Fe Springs. Coaster employees Felix Porres, Jose Mendoza, Leonel Cardenas, Billy Castillo, Carlos Munguia, Mario Bernardo from Team Manchester won the tournament.

Luz Maria and her husband welcomed a baby boy into their family on November 19, 2009. When he was born, he weighed 8 lbs and measured 21 inches in length.
